The ESOT Digital Outpatient Innovation Award is a unique opportunity to showcase digital outpatient projects linked to organ transplantation and to receive valuable advice from top experts as well as explore collaboration opportunities.
The award is aimed at start-ups and spin-offs of academic institutions and hospitals in Europe developing or tailoring projects for organ transplant patients with a minimum viable product (MVP) available and a first pilot deployed.
The award committee is looking for projects that:
are based on a unique innovative idea
are cross-functional and/or cross-sectorial
address an unmet need
create value for both patients and the healthcare system
foster patient involvement and empowerment
offer a tangible win-win for all stakeholders
have a clearly defined measure of success
are sustainable by design
ensure the data privacy of the patient
use the most appropriate technology/methodology
have a structured KPI-based plan for implementation
The award committee is composed of ESOT Section and Committee Board members, patient representatives, public health experts and digital health experts.
